The Puente General Artigas (German: General Artigas Bridge ) is an international road bridge in South America.

It runs over the Río Uruguay and connects the Argentine city of Colón with the Uruguayan city of Paysandú . The superstructure of the 2,350-meter-long bridge consists of pre-stressed pre-stressed concrete beams on both sides . The main bridge has three ports each with spans of about 97 meters at the side panels and 140 meters at the central box and was used as prestressed concrete beam with a haunched hollow box cross-section in the cantilever prepared.

Its inauguration took place on December 10, 1975 by the then Argentine President Isabel Perón . The name of the bridge can be traced back to the Uruguayan national hero José Gervasio Artigas .
