The Puente Internacional Barón de Mauá (also: Ponte Barão de Mauá or in German Baron von Maua Bridge ) is an international road and rail bridge in South America .

The 340 m long arched bridge spans the Río Yaguarón and connects the Brazilian city ​​of Jaguarão in the state of Rio Grande do Sul with the Uruguayan city ​​of Río Branco in the Cerro Largo department .

It was built between 1927 and 1930. From the Uruguayan side, Ruta 18 leads to the bridge, on the Brazilian side, the BR-116 road , coming from Fortaleza .
