Punta Gurruchaga ( Cabo Chiclana in Argentina ) is a headland of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . At the head of the Visca Anchorage , it is in the immediate vicinity of the Ajax Icefall on the banks of the Caleta Aldea .
Argentine scientists named it after the Francisco de Gurruchaga , a research vessel on the Argentine Antarctic expedition that ran from 1953 to 1954.
