Punta Martin ( Spanish , in Argentina Punta Sommers ) is a rocky headland in the northwest of the Kiev Peninsula on the Danco coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 11 km west of Rahir Point on the banks of the Bay of Flanders and marks the western limit of the entrance to Hyatt Cove .
The name was given by Chilean scientists around 1947. Here, as with the Argentine name, the namesake is not passed down.
