Punta Ortiz is a headland of Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located between the Punta Serrano and Punta Riquelme headlands at the northwest end of Discovery Bay .
Scientists of the 1st Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1946–1947) named the headland after an unknown expedition member.
