Punta Yuseff is a headland in the north of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the east side of Cape Shirreff , the northern branch of the John Paul II Peninsula , it separates Playa Larga from Half Moon Beach in the south.
Chilean scientists named them after Sergio Yuseff Sotomayor, captain of the ship Capitán Luis Alcázar on the 44th, 45th and 46th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1989–1990, 1990–1991 and 1991–1992).
