Furthermore, there should be a silent partner who is said to have started the insolvency proceedings later.

With its own OB van, pure fm broadcast regularly from clubs, events and festivals.

Today's organizer is eagle Broadcast Brandenburg GmbH based in Frankfurt (Oder), in which the managing partners Matthias Kayales and Steve Raschke each hold a 24.5% stake. Stephan Hoff, a lawyer based in Frankfurt (Oder), has held a majority stake of 51% since December 18, 2019.

history

pure fm started on November 21, 2012 in the Berlin DAB -Mux 7B, which it left after only a few months. In October 2013, the Bavarian State Center for New Media (BLM) announced that Pure FM would be launched via DAB + in Bavaria. The station was switched on gradually from May 6th to 8th, 2014. Since July 11, 2014, Pure FM has been broadcasting again in Berlin via the same DAB + -Mux. On June 4, 2015 the Medienanstalt Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein (MA HSH) approved the third regional program of Pure FM in the Hanseatic city. Pure FM started in Hamburg on August 1, 2015 and via FM in Frankfurt (Oder) on August 18, 2017.

At the beginning of 2018, Pure FM was temporarily switched off on all DAB stations until January 9th. The background to this remained unclear. On March 21, 2018, Pure FM was finally switched off on the Bavarian DAB broadcasting slots. The network operator Bayerische Medientechnik (bmt) justified this with the non-fulfillment of contractual conditions.

According to press reports, the Frankfurt (Oder) District Court ordered the provisional administration of the assets of pure Medien Network pMN GmbH on April 11, 2019 and appointed a provisional insolvency administrator; the insolvency proceedings were opened on May 29, 2019. Broadcasting will continue via the new content provider eagle Broadcast Brandenburg GmbH. The FM and DAB + licenses were returned effective June 30, 2019. After the frequencies for Frankfurt (Oder) 98.0 MHz and Brandenburg an der Havel 105.8 MHz (never activated) were subsequently put up for tender, the applications from the new content provider eagle Broadcast Brandenburg GmbH were rejected. The media authority justified this decision, among other things, with the findings from the insolvency proceedings about the assets of the former content provider pure Medien Network pMN GmbH.

In addition, there was a new tender for DAB + capacity in Berlin. However, eagle Broadcast Brandenburg GmbH withdrew its application for the pure fm program before the decision on the application.

The FM broadcasting in Frankfurt (Oder) on 98.0 MHz, which was only tolerated until the activation of 104.6 RTL, to which the license was lost, was on December 31, 2019 according to the wording of its own press release of the station temporarily ended because the preliminary frequency allocation by the broadcasting network operator Funkhaus Oderturm GmbH expired at the end of 2019.

At the moment the pure fm program can only be received via DAB + in Berlin, in the cable network of Frankfurt (Oder) and on the Internet. In 2019, the Frankfurt program was distributed almost exclusively via the Berlin DAB + multiplex. DAB + distribution in Bavaria and Hamburg has meanwhile been stopped.

Meanwhile, the Frankfurt (Oder) public prosecutor's office is investigating whether insolvency crimes have been committed in connection with the bankruptcy of pure Medien Network pMN GmbH.

Program and accompanying services

Pure FM (spelling: pure fm ) sees itself as a regional program and plays almost all types of electronic music from deep house to commercial dance recordings. There are also live broadcasts from clubs, events and festivals . Like the homepage, the word program contains information on the club scene. Pure FM broadcasts the MOT slideshow for all DABplus regional programs in Berlin and Hamburg, which shows the latest music covers, news, live images of events and billboards. As long as they were produced, all four programs ran an independent program with regional news, contributions, weather, tips and regionalized advertising.

reception

The program is broadcast from the Berlin TV tower with 10 kW in DABplus- Mux 7B with 72 kbps for Berlin and Brandenburg.

Since the broadcasting of the Berlin DAB + program is only tolerated by the media authority until the new program providers, who have received the awards from the media council of the Berlin-Brandenburg media authority (mabb), will soon be the pure fm program after the incontestable loss of all media law approvals can no longer be received via terrestrial distribution channels.

In addition, all four regional versions of the program will be distributed via the streaming platforms radio.deand tunein.com, including the Bavarian version as web radio for the time being.
