Purwien
Purwien (own spelling PURWIEN or purwien) is a synth pop band with German-language lyrics around Christian Purwien, who sang at Second Decay until 2002 . Other permanent members are the musicians and producers Steffen Neuhaus and Marcel Schlepp.
Originally Purwien was Christian Purwien's sole project, but quickly developed into a real band of the three musicians. The band is still seen in reviews as a solo project by Christian Purwien. The first single Alle Fehler with Joachim Witt was released in early 2007 and stayed in the German Alternative Charts (DAC) for over six weeks . The debut album, EINS , was supplemented with a guest appearance by Andreas Fröhlich , who recorded four short audio texts for it.
Christian Purwien later decided to produce a new music album together with musician and writer Thomas Kowa (e.g. Remexan - the man without sleep or Redux - the awakening of the children ). For this they flew to Ibiza together to start working on the new CD - they wrote down the experiences and experiences during their stay on the party island and published them in the summer of 2017 in the humorous novel Pommes! Porn! Pop star! . At the same time, the new album Zwei was released .
Motivated by the positive response to their first novel, the two wrote the sequel Vegas, Vidi, Non Vici . Musically, both continued their collaboration and produced the triple music album DREI as part of the follow-up novel .
Christian Purwien and Thomas Kowa's further musical and literary journey together took them to Tarajalejo (Fuerteventura) and Hong Kong; there new songs were created for the album VIER as well as episodes for her third novel Tausche Ehe minus against friendship plus .
