Pyrgos Agias ( Greek Πύργος Αγιάς 'Tower of Agia') is a guard and defense tower built in the 17th century on the Greek Cycladic island of Naxos . He is in about 220 meters altitude above the northwest coast of the island. The tower belongs to the settlement of Agia (Αγιά) about three kilometers west of Apollonas in the municipality of Drymalia .
The Pyrgos Agias was built 150 meters west above a monastery from the 11th or 12th century and belonged to the wealthy Kokkos family. A three-story tower was built on a square floor plan, with windows only on the upper floor. A staircase leads to the entrance on the middle floor, which like the basement is otherwise only provided with loopholes on the outside . In the early 1980s, the privately owned tower, the associated side room with an oil mill and the monastery building including the small chapel of Agia Komiakis (Αγιά Κωμιακής) were listed as historical monuments. The tower of Agia was inhabited until 1992 when it was ruined by a fire.
