QD Leavis
Queenie Dorothy Leavis (née Roth ; * December 7, 1906 in Edmonton , Middlesex , † March 17, 1981 in Cambridge ) was an English literary scholar. Together with her husband FR Leavis , she shaped British literary theory and didactics for decades towards the middle of the 20th century .
She was the sister of the mathematician Leonard Roth .
