QDX is an explosive from the group of nitramines that is structurally related to octogen . QDX is a by-product of the manufacture of octogen.

toxicology

The substance can be absorbed either orally or through the skin. In animal studies, QDX caused liver damage, hypermotility of the gastrointestinal tract and diarrhea in rabbits and rats .
