Qu Bo (曲波) (born July 15, 1981 in Tianjin ) is a Chinese former football player . He took part with the Chinese national team in the 2002 World Cup in Japan and Korea and is currently a member of the national team.

Club career

Qu Bo began his career at Qingdao Jonoon in 2000, where he quickly established himself as a regular due to his speed. He has been playing for Shaanxi Chanba since 2009 .

International career

Qu Bo first attracted attention during the Asian U-19 Championship when he scored four goals for his country. The then national coach of the Chinese national team , Bora Milutinović , quickly noticed and considered Qu Bo for the squad for the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Japan and South Korea. However, he was not a regular player and was not considered for the 2004 Asian Cup. However, he completed many World Cup qualifiers.
