1 quarter = 4 places = 16 4/9 Parisian cubic inches about 1/3 liter
4 quarters = 1 stoop
8 quarters = 1 pot
14 quarters = 1 kappor
56 quarter = 1 quarter
112 quarters = 1 half span
224 quarter = 1 instep
448 quarters = 1 ton

The dimensional chain for dry goods (grain measure) was

1 ton = 2 spans = 4 half spans = 8 quarter spans = 32 kappar = 56 jugs = 112 stoop = 448 quarters = 1792 place = 7386 Parisian cubic inches = 146 3/8 liters
