The Quest Channel is a strait in the Adelaide and Biscoe Islands archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It leads from the open Southern Ocean between Hibbert Rock in the northwest and the Henkes Islands in the southeast to Adelaide Anchorage on the south coast of Adelaide Island .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the channel in 1964 after the dinghy Quest of HMS Protector for measurement of the area in the year 1963rd
