Adelaide Anchorage is a bay at the southern end of Adelaide Island west of Avian Island off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is a safe anchorage (English: anchorage ) visited by ships, which aims to nearby Adelaide station is.
This was mapped by members of the British Antarctic Survey on the RSS John Biscoe and the Royal Navy's hydrographic surveying unit between January and March 1962.
