Quincy is a village in Logan County , Ohio , United States . In 2000 the village had 734 inhabitants. The place is in the Miami Township in the southwest of the county. It is named after the sixth President John Quincy Adams .

State Route 235 passes through Quincy as Carlisle Street in a north-south direction. Directly south of the borough of Quincy is the eastern end of State Route 706 at the junction with State Route 235 .
