Quincy is a village in Logan County , Ohio , United States . In 2000 the village had 734 inhabitants. The place is in the Miami Township in the southwest of the county. It is named after the sixth President John Quincy Adams .

According to the United States Census Bureau , the village has a total area of 2.9 km² , with no significant body of water. With the exception of a small area in the northeast, where the northern boundary is marked by the Great Miami River , Quincy forms a square.
State Route 235 passes through Quincy as Carlisle Street in a north-south direction. Directly south of the borough of Quincy is the eastern end of State Route 706 at the junction with State Route 235 . In addition, railway lines of the former railway companies New York Central Railroad and Detroit, Toledo and Ironton Railroad cross in Quincy .
Demographics
At the time of the United States Census 2000, Quincy inhabited 734 people. The population density was 250.8 people per km ². There were 273 housing units at an average of 93.3 per km ². The Quincy population was 98.23% White , 0.14% Black or African American , 0.14% Native American , 0.14% Asian , 0.14% Pacific Islander , 0% said they were of other races and 1.23% named two or more races. 0.68% of the population declared to be Hispanic or Latino of any race.
The residents of Quincy were distributed across 256 households out of which 44.9% had children under the age of 18. 60.2% of households were married, 11.3% had a female head of the household without a husband and 21.9% were not families. 18.8% of households were made up of individuals and someone lived in 7.8% of all households aged 65 years or older. The average household size was 2.87 and the average family size was 3.28.
The population was divided into 33.5% minors, 8.3% 18–24 year olds, 28.2% 25–44 year olds, 20.4% 45–64 year olds and 9.5% aged 65 and over or more. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 women there were 101.1 men. For every 100 women over 18, there were 98.4 men.
