Rémi Bezançon (born March 25, 1971 in Paris ) is a French film director and screenwriter .

Life

Rémi Bezançon studied at the Paris film school École Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle (ESRA) and the École du Louvre . His first short film Little Italie was released in 1997. Numerous other short films were made, for which Bezançon not only directed, but also wrote the script.

In 2008, Bezançon's feature film C'est la vie - This is how we are, this is life , was released, which uses five exemplary days to tell the story of a family of five from the French middle class over a period of almost twelve years. The critically acclaimed tragic comedy developed into an audience success in France and received prizes in three categories at the Césars 2009 : for the best female and male young actors and the best editing.

In 2012, Zarafa Bezançon's first animated film was made, The Adventures of the Little Giraffe .
