Mona Guerrant also Mona Schallau (born November 28, 1948 in Marengo , Iowa as Ramona Anne Schallau ) is a former American tennis player .

Career

She graduated from Rollins College . In 1970 she took part in the Universiade in Turin . Then she played tennis professionally and reached number 11 in the world rankings in 1976. She was inducted into the Iowa Tennis Hall of Fame in 1976 and into the Des Moines Sunday Register's Iowa Sports Hall of Fame in 1996.

Guerrant had her greatest success in December 1977 at the Australian Open in doubles . Like all finalists, she was declared the winner because this final could not be held due to rain.

She married Terry Guerrant and took the name Guerrant. You have a son.
