The Réservoir La Grande 4 is a reservoir in the Canadian province of Québec . Located in the Jamésie region, it is part of the Baie James hydropower project .
The 125 meter high and almost four kilometer long Barrage La Grande-4 dam and ten additional dikes [possibly. are here meant dams, since dykes do not impound a river] dam the river La Grande Rivière . The water area is 765 km², the height of the dam target 377 meters.
The associated storage power plant La Grande-4 (including LG-4 called) has nine turbines with a capacity of 2,779 MW and a drop height of 116.7 meters.
