Ríkharður Jónsson (born November 12, 1929 in Akranes , † February 14, 2017 in Iceland ) was an Icelandic football coach and player in the position of a striker , who also played for the Icelandic national football team. He is counted among the most important football players in his country.

From 1947 he played for the Icelandic national football team , for which he scored 17 goals in 33 games. This makes him the team's third most successful goalscorer. Furthermore, Ríkharður Jónsson was active from 1947 to 1950 with Fram Reykjavík and from 1951 in 1965 with ÍA Akranes as a football player. He died on February 14, 2017 at the age of 87.
