Río Blanco is a river in the Mexican state of Veracruz , which belongs to the river system of the Río Papaloapan .

course

The Río Blanco rises in the foothills of the peaks of the Acultzingo mountains and joins the watercourses that emerge from the springs of Barranca Seca and Ojo Zarco . The Río Blanco recorded a further increase in water, initially through the inflow of a current from the sources of Tecamaluca and later through a watercourse that originated at the foot of a hill near Nogales . From here the Río Blanco flows in an easterly direction first through Nogales, then through the neighboring town of Río Blanco named after it and then through the southern Orizaba , where it marks the border between the former factory of Cocolapan on the one hand and the former haciendas of Jalapilla and San Antonio on the other hand forms. At La Junta it joins the Orizaba River , which crosses the city of Orizaba from north to south.

At the end of its path of Río Blanco empties into the Laguna Tlalixcoyan that on at Alvarado location Laguna de Alvarado in the Gulf of Mexico flows.
