The Río Pescado is a river in northwest Argentina in the province of Salta . It is one of the largest tributaries of the Río Bermejo .

geography

The Río Pescado arises as the confluence of the Río Alisar and the Río de la Quebrada Palca de Achiras, 6 km west of the southern end of the Baritú National Park at about 1200 m. It flows mainly from west to east. First it crosses the southern part of the Baritú National Park and then changes its course to the south, only to turn east again after the confluence with the Río Iruya .
