The building at Röhrenstrasse 11, Saarstrasse 1a is a listed residential building in Bitterfeld-Wolfen in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the city center of Bitterfeld in a corner at the confluence of Saarstrasse and Röhrenstrasse.

Architecture and history

The two-storey, symmetrical brick building was created in the Expressionist style and is considered a successful example of New Objectivity . It has details typical of the 1930s. There are acute angles, rounded corners and tower-like additions. The building has a triangular bay window and a roof pike running through the entire front . The facade is by cornices and windows window surrounds divided. The joints between the bricks are lightly plastered and stand out against the dark brick-faced wall.
