Rüdiger Blaschke

Rüdiger Blaschke (born June 26, 1954 ) was mayor of Hohenlockstedt and from 2002 to 2010 mayor of the district town of Itzehoe .

Life

Blaschke attended the regional vocational training center Steinburg as a vocational school student . Later he worked temporarily on the Schmabek estate in Itzehoe. Blaschke is married and has three children.

Blaschke had already been mayor in Hohenlockstedt when he was elected mayor of Itzehoe in 2002 as a non-party candidate. The election on September 22 of that year, in which Blaschke gained 64.7 percent, was declared invalid due to a formal error and had to be repeated. When the election was repeated on February 22, 2004, Rüdiger Blaschke got 88.6%. In the election on March 7, 2010, Blaschke lost 40 percent of the vote against Andreas Koeppen (56 percent).
