Rüdiger Pompl
Rüdiger Pompl (born November 14, 1944 in Tachauer Schmelztal (today Tachovská Huť ), Marienbad district in the Egerland Sudetenland ) is a German lawyer and local politician of the CSU . For many years he was mayor of the district town of Lauf an der Pegnitz in Central Franconia .
biography
After completing his law studies, Pompl initially worked as a lawyer. Since July 1975 he has been employed as an administrative lawyer for the city of Lauf, two years later he was appointed city legal adviser and head of the legal office. In 1979 he was elected 1st mayor of the city of Lauf. He held this post until his retirement at the end of April 2008.
