Rudiger Weissbach

Rüdiger Weißbach (born October 13, 1962 in Bremen ) is professor for business informatics at the economics department of the HAW Hamburg . His work focuses on IT management , requirements engineering and project management as well as IT use in SMEs .

Life

Rüdiger Weißbach attended the Bremen-Blumenthal high school and studied communication science and musicology at the Free University of Berlin and the Technical University of Berlin . After completing his master's degree, he worked for a company in the electrical industry and for a financial service provider. Topic of his doctorate for Dr. phil. at the information science work area of ​​the political and social sciences department of the Free University of Berlin in 2000 was the diffusion of ISDN . He worked as a lecturer at the University of Göttingen , the Free University of Berlin and the HAW Hamburg. Since 2009 he has been a university lecturer at the HAW Hamburg. In 2012 he taught as part of a guest residency at the Technical University of Shanghai (USST).

Rüdiger Weißbach is a partner of the IUK Institute Dortmund and a member of the Society for Computer Science .
