Rütergat
The Rütergat , formerly also Ruyter depth , is a mud flux in the Wadden Sea of the North Sea . The fairway runs southeast of the island of Amrum and has a strong current . The remote-controlled lighthouse Nieblum has the function of a sector guide light and is used for navigation in the approach to the Rütergat between the open North Sea and the islands of Amrum and Föhr.
