R. Ernest Dupuy

Richard Ernest Dupuy ( 1887 - 1975 ) was an American military writer . During World War II he worked as a press and information officer for Dwight D. Eisenhower , who later became President of the United States , and reported, among other things, the landing in Normandy (1944). Dupuy was married to Laura Nevitt. Their son Trevor Nevitt Dupuy was a highly decorated officer in the United States Army and also worked as a military writer.
