The toboggan club Kreuth eV is a German winter sports club from Kreuth , which was founded in 1974. The only sport in the club is natural tobogganing .

The Kreuth toboggan club offers both recreational tobogganers and active sports tobogganers the opportunity to practice this sport. The association operates its own toboggan run, the Kreuth-Klamm toboggan run . The RC Kreuth hosted the Natural Track Luge World Championship on it in 1984 . Other major events organized by the club were the European Junior Championship in 1987 , a World Cup race in 1995 , the European Junior Championship again in 2003 and the 3rd European Grand Prix in sport tobogganing in 2006 . The club not only organizes races on its World Cup track at the Kreuther Klamm , but also the annual big price tobogganing from Hirschberg . In January and February, night tobogganing is organized on the World Cup track at the gorge every Friday from 7:00 p.m.

From 1976 to 2006 the club was headed by Rudi Wolf and has been associated with this name since it was founded. In the first three years of the association, Wolf was secretary of the association. Alex Eham has been his successor in the office of chairman since 2006.

The club's figureheads are the athletes who belong to or were part of the German national team. These include the multiple German champions Marcus Grausam , the siblings Michaela Maurer and Georg Maurer and the siblings Veronika Nachmann and Martin Nachmann . Members of the club regularly achieve top positions in German and Bavarian championships.
