RVC Prechtal

The Concordia Prechtal e. V. (short: RVC Prechtal) is a cycling club from Elzach -Prechtal in Baden-Württemberg . The RVC is active with its 230 members in cycling , artificial cycling and unicycling .

history

The Concordia Prechtal cycling club was founded in May 1912, making it the oldest club in Prechtal . The band founded in 1921 was also part of the cycling club until the Second World War .

After 1949, club life slowly developed again, and parade driving was the most important field of activity for many years. Playing in the club also has a long tradition, and for decades to this day, Concordia has its own amateur theater group .

After the construction of a multi-purpose hall by the municipality in 1972, an indoor cycling department was founded.

The Prechtäler MTB -Rennen on Steinberg was part of the MTB racing series "Black Forest Tälercup". The Reichenbach race in Reichenbach (Elzach), which is also held, is a mountain time trial for hobby riders . Along with the tourism company Zweitälerland in the Black Forest Nature Park Central / North , the Concordia has twice successfully a stage start in the Tour of Germany organized the "Everyone Men". Together with the local forest office, Concordia has been running the national forest mountain bike race for two years .

Sports activities are financed through dance events and participation in village or town festivals .

Disabled sports

After 2003 and 2004, the Concordia Prechtal cycling club hosted the German handicapped cycling championship for the third time in 2009 . More than 50 cyclists participated in the event, including some participants in the Paralympics in Beijing in two competitions. There were German championship titles in the sports equipment solo bike , handbike , tandem and trike .

  • multiple Baden-Wuerttemberg master in different classes, each year in one of the classes for the last 8 years.
