Ra Lotsawa Dorje Drag ( Tib. Rwa lo tsa ba rdo rje grags * 1016 - 1128 (?)); Dorje Drag - the translator from Ra ( rwa ) was a famous translator of the time of the later spread of the teaching , whose name is particularly associated with the Vajrabhairava . Ra Chörab ( rwa chos rab ) was his nephew.

The mantrayana school tradition that originates from Ra Lotsawa is called the “ Ra tradition ” ( rwa lugs ).

His biography ( Rwa Lo ts'a ba'i rnam thar ) was written by Ra Yeshe Sengge ( rwa ye shes seng ge ). It reports on his two trips to Nepal and India , his scripture study under the tutor shank significant monks research to Mahayana - Buddhism and the translation of Buddhist scriptures. The modern edition of the Qinghai Nationalities Publishing House is based on the block print edition kept in the estate of the father of the 13th Dalai Lama .
