Vengeance Pharaoh
Rached Mahmoud Pharaon ( Arabic رشاد بن محمود فرعون, DMG Rašād Maḥmūd Firʿaun ; * 1910 in Syria ; † 1990 in Jeddah ) was a Saudi Arabian politician and diplomat .
Life
Dr. Rashed Mahmoud Pharaon studied medicine in Damascus . In Paris he trained as a specialist and returned to the League of Nations mandate for Syria and Lebanon , where he was employed by the French armed forces . At the invitation of friends, he traveled to Jeddah, where he became the court doctor of the Saud family and advisor to Abd al-Aziz ibn Saud .
Rached Pharaon was ambassador to Paris from December 1948 to October 1954. Saud ibn Abd al-Aziz appointed him his health minister in 1954, a position he held until 1961. From June 1963 to October 1965 he was again ambassador to Paris. In October 1965 Faisal ibn Abd al-Aziz appointed him to his ruling council, where he stayed for life.
