The North Kennedy River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Queensland , in the Far North Queensland region on the Cape York Peninsula .

geography

River course

The river has its source north of the St. George River Outstation settlement , about 145 km west of Cooktown and flows north. It passes under the Peninsula Developmental Road north of the Koolburra Outstation and crosses the west of Lakefield National Park . At the settlement of Aloszville it flows into Princess Charlotte Bay , part of the Coral Sea .
