The Hann River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Queensland , in the Far North Queensland region on the Cape York Peninsula .

geography

River course

The river has its source at the Jungle Creek settlement , around 165 km west of Cooktown and flows north. It crosses under the Peninsula Developmental Road at Hann River Rosdhouse and crosses the west of Lakefield National Park . About five kilometers west of the Bizant settlement it flows into the North Kennedy River .
