Rachel Khoo

Rachel Khoo (born August 28, 1980 in Croydon , London ) is a British cook , author and television presenter with her own cooking program called The Little Paris Kitchen, which is broadcast on the BBC .

life and career

Khoo is the daughter of a Chinese-born Malaysian and an Austrian . After studying at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design , she briefly worked in the fashion industry as a PR employee .

Khoo then went to Paris , where she completed a three-month pâtissier course at Le Cordon Bleu . During this time she worked as an au pair , as a bookseller in the cookbook store 'La Cocotte' and gave her first baking courses. She wrote her first two cookbooks in French . These were published by Marabout. She wrote her third book, The little Paris Kitchen , in English and started a cooking show of the same name on the BBC in 2012. More books and cooking programs followed.
