Rachel Tucker
Rachel Tucker (born May 29, 1981 in Belfast ) is a Northern Irish singer and actress , best known for her leading role as Elphaba in the West End musical Wicked and her participation in the British talent show I'd Do Anything .
Life
Rachel Tucker attended the Little Flower Girls' School in Belfast, the Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education (now Belfast Metropolitan College) for two years and then the Royal Academy of Music .
Tucker hosted several episodes of The Friday Show in 2009 . She worked, among other things, in the West End musical production We Will Rock You . From March 29, 2010 to October 27, 2012, she played the role of Elphaba in the West End musical Wicked .
In 2011 she won the WhatsOnStage.com award in the “best takeover in a role” category.
She is married to theater director Guy Retallack, who is 17 years her senior . You live in London. They are expecting their first child in January 2013.
