The Radauer Wood is a small, in the district of Vienenburg in Goslar located forest area in the district of Goslar . It is named after the Radau river . The forest is to the west of the Braunschweig – Bad Harzburg railway line and the 369 federal motorway .

geography

The forest is located between the Menneckenberg in the north to Vienenburg and the Güdeckeberg in the south to Gut Radau , a homestead in the Bettingerode district in Bad Harzburg . The noticeable recess in the otherwise very heavily cultivated Vienenburg plain results from the fact that the gravel gravel is not suitable for agriculture. The Radauer Holz is traversed by the Teufelsbach .
