Radek Deyl (born September 14, 1989 in Košice , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Karlovy Vary in the Czech Extraliga since June 2014 .

Career

Radek Deyl began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth of HC Košice , for whose professional team he made his debut in the extra league in the 2008/09 season and with whom he became Slovak champion for the first time in his rookie year . The defender contributed to this success with five scorer points, including one goal, in a total of 29 games. The left-handed shooter completed a further 24 games for the Slovak U20 national ice hockey team , with which he also took part in the Extraliga. With Košice he was again Slovak champion in the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons .

In June 2014, Deyl was signed by HC Karlovy Vary from the Czech Extraliga after he had increased his points yield to 15 points in the previous season.

International

For Slovakia Deyl took part in the U20 Junior World Championship in 2009 , where he finished fourth with his team.
