Radhanpur was a princely state of British India on the Little Rann of Kachchh in what is now the state of Gujarat . It was founded in 1725 by Nawab Khan Jahan, a younger son of Nawab Jafarkhanji Babi of Junagadh . Its capital was the place Radhanpur . Radhanpur was a British protectorate from 1813 to 1947 and in 1901 had an area of ​​2979 km² and 62,000 inhabitants. As part of the “attachment scheme”, by joining a few dwarf states in 1943, 2,234 km² with almost 33,000 inhabitants (100,644 in total) were added. On June 10, 1948, it was annexed to India and incorporated into the state of Bombay . Radhanpur has been part of the state of Gujarat since 1960.
