The Radical RXC (short for Radical Xtreme Coupé ) is a sports car from the British car manufacturer Radical , which has been built in Peterborough since 2013 .
history
The vehicle as the first closed variant of the manufacturer since autumn 2013 is sold addition to a street-legal version with a 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost - gasoline engine from Ford of RXC is also available as a racing car not street legal with an eight-cylinder gasoline engine. Visually, the coupé resembles a Le Mans prototype . In the more than three years of development, the manufacturer adopted some of the findings from the Radical SR9 LMP2 car .
The RXC has also been delivered as a Spyder since the beginning of 2015. This is based on the RXC V8 and is only available without road approval.
With the RXC GT3 presented in 2016, the RXC can also participate in the GT3 group of the FIA .
For the company's 20th anniversary, Radical presented the RXC as a Turbo 600R 20th Anniversary Car special model at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June 2017 .

Like the other models from the manufacturer, the Radical RXC is made in an extremely lightweight construction and has a weight of around 900 kg. After all, the vehicle is delivered with air conditioning , a multifunction steering wheel and a roll cage .
