Radio38 is a private regional radio based in Braunschweig . It has been broadcasting since January 28, 2015. The transmission area extends in the west from the Weserbergland to the Elbe in the east. In the north, the terrestrial reception extends to Lüneburg , in the south to the Harz mountains . The radio offer for Eastern Lower Saxony thus also reaches large parts of the neighboring state of Saxony-Anhalt . Postal code region 38 with the Braunschweig / Wolfsburg agglomeration is the core broadcast area .
