Willi Bißbort

Wilhelm Bißbort , called Willi (born March 1, 1910 in Nünschweiler ; † May 8, 1990 in Waldfischbach-Burgalben ) was a German politician ( FDP ).

Life

Bißbort attended elementary school, advanced training school, agricultural school and the farmer's college. He then worked in agriculture and in 1935 became rural youth officer of the Reichsnährstand , district farmers 'association in Zweibrücken and rural farmers' association in Saar-Palatinate. From 1939 to 1945 he did military service and was last an officer. After the war he worked in the administration of large agricultural goods in 1953 and then worked in the Rhineland-Palatinate financial administration.

Bißbort became a member of the NSDAP as early as 1929 . From 1931 to 1935 he was a member of the SA and a squad leader there. From 1936 to 1945 he belonged to the Hitler Youth and was a follower leader. As part of the denazification , he was classified as a follower on August 15, 1949 with a cleansing order from the Neustadt investigative committee and fined 50 DM. The decision was confirmed by the Neustadt Spruchkammer on October 13, 1949.

In 1951 he became a member of the FDP and there in 1952 chairman of the FDP district association Pirmasens-Land. In 1959 he became deputy chairman of the FDP district association West Palatinate. In 1960 he was elected a member of the district assembly and the district committee, and in 1964 he became deputy district assembly chairman. He was a member of the district council and the district committee and chairman of the parliamentary group there.

He was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament from May 25, 1967 to May 17, 1971. He was a successor for Fritz Schneider . In the state parliament he was a member of the committee for agriculture and viticulture, the budget and finance committee and the audit committee.
