Radio slave
Radio Slave , actually Matt Edwards, is a British techno and house DJ and producer . He is also known by the pseudonyms Matthew E, Rekid, Quiet Village and Sea Devils.
Life
Radio Slave was best known for his remix work. His track Can't Get Blue Monday out of My Head was played at the 2002 Brit Awards with an appearance by Kylie Minogue . It's a bastard pop version of the New Order song Blue Monday and Can't Get You out of My Head by Kylie Minogue.
He started his first residency in 1992 in the Milk Bar. He later became a DJ in the newly opened Ministry of Sound . In 2006 he founded his label Rekids . In 2008 he moved to Berlin, where he produces and mixes the Strictly Rhythm series for the well-known British house label Defected, among others .
