Radio Soundportal is an independent local private radio with an alternative music color from Styria in Austria . The 14 to 35 year olds are stated as the core target group.

history

Radio Soundportal went on air on September 25, 2000 in Graz under the name 97.9 FM - the sound portal . In the course of time, more frequencies were added in Eastern Styria .

At the beginning, the station, such as Njoy Radio , had a training frequency and was therefore not allowed to broadcast advertising. Only then , in contrast to Njoy , the station was already run commercially and had permanent moderators.

  • Cafe Sunrise - Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Morning show with event tips, sports and tabloid news
  • Mailbox - Monday to Friday from 10 to 14h: similar to the broadcast update of FM4 morning and afternoon program with webtip, record of the week and current issues in the categories of political, economic, social, cultural
  • Daywatch - Monday to Friday from 2pm to 6pm: afternoon program with IT news, cinema information and event tips
  • Club Soundportal - Mondays to Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm: music magazine in the evening

The program can be received terrestrially over nine VHF frequencies (analogue) in Graz, East Styria, West Styria, Mürz Valley and, since December 22, 2009, as the first Austrian radio program, digitally via four DVB-T transmitters in the Mur-Mürz Valley region. In addition, there is nationwide cable frequencies and worldwide distribution via the Internet.
