Radiotelevizioni 21 ( RTV for short ) is a broadcasting company in Kosovo , which among other things broadcasts the television program RTV21 of the same name .
RTV 21 was founded in Pristina in 1998 as an internet radio station. After the beginning of the Kosovo war in 1999, the head office was moved first to Skopje and later back to Pristina. After returning, the broadcasting company began to develop the concept of its own television station. In 2000, the station was licensed nationwide and initially broadcast two hours of programming per day, which was increased to 18 hours in 2001. Since 2002, the station has broadcast a full 24-hour program, 70 percent of which consists of in-house productions. In September 2007, another television program was started with the music channel 21 Plus , followed by the folk music channel 21 Popullore , the children's channel 21 Junior , the cultural channel 21 MIX , the business channel 21 Buessines and an official YouTube channel. The broadcasting corporation owns the 2200 square meter building Sheshi 21 (Square 21), which is rented to event organizers.
Since January 2012, RTV 21 has been the first digital-terrestrial broadcaster in Kosovo . RTV 21 has been broadcasting in HD format since December 31, 2012 . It is the first broadcaster in Kosovo and the Balkans to broadcast and produce in full HD format.

In addition to various news programs, the station primarily broadcasts cultural and entertainment programs such as Diçka po zihet or the magazine program Relax . The first season of Shpija e Kosovës was also broadcast on RTV 21.
