Antonietta Di Martino (born June 1, 1978 in Cava de 'Tirreni ) is an Italian athlete . The high jumper came second in 2007 and third in 2011 at the outdoor world championships.

In 2000, Di Martino improved her previous best by ten centimeters from 1.78 m to 1.88 m. In 2001 she managed to increase it further by ten centimeters to 1.98 m. It was not until 2007 that it was able to improve further, over 2.00 m indoors it improved to 2.03 m outdoors. She won the Italian championship title in 2000, 2001, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010; in the hall she won in 2003, 2006 and 2007.

Di Martino made her first major international appearance at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton, when she reached the finals, but was only twelfth with 1.85 m. It wasn't until four and a half years later that she returned to major championships. At the World Indoor Championships in Moscow in 2006 , she finished fifth with 1.96 m. In the summer of the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg, Di Martino was tenth with 1.92 m.

At the European Indoor Championships in Birmingham in 2007, she won her first international medal; with 1.96 m she was second behind the Croatian Blanka Vlašić , who had crossed 2.05 m. In the open-air season, Di Martino jumped 2.02 m in Turin on June 18, beating Sara Simeoni's national record after 29 years . On June 24th, she jumped 2.03 m at the European Athletics Cup in Milan. She was able to repeat this performance in the most important competition of the year. On September 2, 2007 she jumped in the final at the World Championships in Osaka again 2.03 m and was thus together with Anna Tschitscherowa second behind Vlašić, who crossed 2.05 m as in the hall.

At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, she came eighth. The following year she was first fourth at the World Championships in Berlin. Due to the disqualification of Chicherova, she subsequently advanced to bronze in 2018. In February 2011 Di Martino improved the Italian indoor record to 2.04 m. At the European Indoor Championships shortly afterwards in Paris, she celebrated her first international title with 2.01 m. At the World Championships in Daegu, she finished third with 2.00 m, the only Italian medal ever at these championships. At the indoor world championships in Istanbul 2012 she won another silver medal.

The 1.69 meter tall jumper has a competition weight of 58 kg. She starts for the Fiamme Gialle association .
