Website

The radio world (own spelling: radioWelt ) is the name of the current magazine in the radio station Bayern 2 of the Bavarian broadcasting company . It is broadcast three times a day from Monday to Friday: radioWelt in the morning runs from 6:05 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., radioWelt at noon from 1:05 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and radioWelt in the evening from 5:05 p.m. until 18:00.

concept

As a current magazine, radioWelt reports primarily on news-relevant events from national and international politics, state politics, business, Bavaria and society. Unlike B5 aktuell , Bayern 2 also broadcasts comments , discussions with ARD correspondents , and interviews with politicians and other celebrities in the radioWelt . In between, individual pop music songs are placed.

The daily rubrics of the radioWelt in the morning are the “thoughts on the day” shortly before 8:00 am and the gloss “End of the world” shortly before 8:30 am.

Moderation

The radioWelt moderators alternate between Kerstin Grundmann, Matthias Dänzer-Vanotti, Birgit Harprath, Eva Kötting, Uwe Pagels, Rolf Büllmann, Julia Nether, Veronika Lohmöller, Birgit Frank, Christoph Peerenboom, Stefan Kreutzer and Tilman Seiler. Thomas Meyerhöfer moderated the early edition of radioWelt from 1989 to 2015.
