The Radisson Blu Hotel, Frankfurt ( called Radisson SAS Hotel Frankfurt until the beginning of 2009 ; working title: Blue Heaven ) is a hotel operated under the Radisson Blu brand . It is located in a 96-meter-high skyscraper in the district Bockenheim in Frankfurt .

Located in the west of the city in the City West district, not far from the Katharinenkreisel and the Frankfurt trade fair , the building catches the eye when entering the city, especially because of its unusual architecture, it looks like an upright, circular disc. A hotel belonging to the Radisson SAS chain opened in the 19-storey high-rise on November 1, 2005, with 428 rooms, conference rooms, a wellness area and an underground car park with 238 parking spaces. The pool on the 18th floor offers an extraordinary view of downtown Frankfurt. In 2019 the hotel was completely renovated.

The tower was built by Hochtief project development for 110 million euros. The design comes from the London architecture firm John Seifert Architects. The hotel group Radisson Hotel Group initially rented it for 20 years. The open spaces were planned by the Frankfurt office Ute Wittich Gartenarchitektur.

Because of its shape, the hotel is also popularly known as the “ split tablet ”.
