Constanze Kleis

Constanze Kleis (* 1959 ) is a German journalist and book author .

Life

Constanze Kleis took her first steps in the journalistic field as an author for the school newspaper of her school, which appeared under the name "Fallbeil".

She first studied education . Since the late 1980s she has worked as a freelance journalist for various newspapers and magazines, initially for the Frankfurter Neue Presse , later also for Journal Frankfurt , Elle , Freund , Familie & Co. , Maxi and Für Sie .

Her first book, Frankfurt , was created in 1997 from her work for Frankfurt newspapers . The insider lexicon .

Kleis became known through her reports in the Journal Frankfurt as well as her columns and a series of bestsellers on the subject of partnership, which she published together with Susanne Fröhlich , with whom she has been on friendly terms since the early 1990s and with whom she has always been closer stood in the background.

More recently, she has written portraits of personalities for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung who live and work in the Rhine-Main area .

In 2012, she processed her experiences with doctors and hospitals when her mother died in the non-fiction book “Don't Die in Summer and Other Truths You Should Know About Your Ending”.

Constanze Kleis is married. She lives with her husband in Frankfurt am Main , where she also works.
