Radu Aldulescu (born September 17, 1922 in Piteasca , Ilfov district , † March 19, 2006 in Nice , France ) was a Romanian cellist.

Adulescu was a student of Dumitru Dinicu in Bucharest . In 1943 he made his debut as a soloist and over the next few years worked primarily as a chamber musician, a. a. in a trio with the pianist Valentin Gheorghiu and the violinist Ștefan Gheorghiu and the Trio d'Archi di Roma with the violinist Salvatore Accardo and the violist Luigi Alberto Bianchi .

In 1969 Adulescu emigrated to Italy and became an Italian citizen. He then worked as a soloist with the world's most important orchestras and conductors and taught at the Conservatoire de Paris , the Music Academy of the City of Basel and the Conservatory in Pescara. His students included Marin Cazacu , Şerban Nichifor , Cecilia van Hoof , Mariet van Dijk , Gemma Serpenti , Ulf Tischbirek and Paulo Gaio Lima . Since 1981 he has been a professor of cello at the International Menuhin Music Academy .

Radu Aldulescu was a guest at the Berlin International Literature Festival in 2010 .
